Here you can find handicrafts made by local artists, ‘Koshihikari’ rice produced in Minamiuonuma and fresh vegetables. We also recommend you to add to your list of souvenirs a bottle of Echigo sake. We have put together here all kinds of drinks and snacks sweets you will need for a drive.

This is a restaurant corner which uses only local ingredients form Niigata. Our ultimate recommendation is Kenchin soup with local brand pork! This is a special dish famous in this area, prepared by the staff with fresh entrails stewed thoroughly.

Besides noodles and set meals, we would like to welcome everyone to try the special lineup.

We have prepared a homemade roasted coffee from pesticide-free cultures, a special tea with roasted Koshihikari rice, Uonuma buckwheat tea, local sake and Echigo wine. For snacks you can buy a soft serve ice cream rich in flavor, pancakes with plenty of Mitsumata honey and Oyaki cakes with rice flour produced by mont-bell.

Have you forgot something from your climbing equipment? Visit Mitsumata Roadside Station, situated at the base of the Mt. Naeba, one of the 100 most famous mountains in Japan. You can find us just at the Tanigawa mountain range trekking.

At the Mitsumata Roadside Station, you can enjoy a hot spring footbath for free of charge.
There is one footbath inside the building and another one is outside of wood deck zone. During the cold winter day you can enjoy the indoor footbath, while on a sunny summer day you can enjoy the outdoor footbath. (You can buy our original towel for only 200 JPY)
